Four Seasons Hualalai
Journese Curators of Fine Travel sells one of my favorite resorts in Hawaii. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu is definitely one of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed at. Over the years, I have booked many clients there and they are always pleased beyond their expectations and most do go back year after year. Each time I book a client there, I turn to Classic Vacations to help with the planning and latest deals at the resort.
Four Seasons Hualalai is a wonderful base for your family. They go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and offer activities for everyone. Their concierge is available at all times and ready to make dining reservations, activity reservations on site or off site and offer helpful tips as to where to go and what to see. They can even recommend babysitting services for your young children.
When I was there last time, I saw a couple exchanging vows on the beach. They had gathered their friends and family for a celebration in this breathtaking setting. You can renew your vows amidst the coconut palms on the beach, in an intimate garden in the afternoon or along the shore at sunset. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai can offer a romantic, awe-inspiring location to suit your individual tastes.
The pool is absolutely amazing as it is carved out of the oceanfront lava rock and features a natural lava breakwater. The resulting Ocean Pool is protected by the waves and home to sea life including hono (turtles).
If you are a golfer, you will enjoy the Jack Nicklaus signature Hualalai Golf Course. Winding over 7,100 yards, this carefully groomed course begins at an oasis and then flows across brilliant green fairways contoured against black lava. Finally, the course returns to the ocean, where the finishing holes capture the drama and beauty of seaside golf. The scenery is absolutely spectacular. If you are traveling with a golfer and not a player yourself, you might want to go along for the ride to enjoy the course and its natural beauty.
Dining at the resort is an event and they pride themselves on serving the freshest local ingredients in innovative dishes created by their chefs. Choose from three restaurants and two ocean-side lounges.
The essence of barefoot elegance, Beach Tree restaurant has the feel of a Hawaiian beach house. Diners choose between al fresco beachside seating or an elegant covered dining room with vaulted ceilings. An outdoor lounge sets the state for perfect beachfront cocktails and nightly live entertainment.
Ulu Ocean Grill showcases a stylish blend of Hawaiian architecture and modern flair – a lively, informal setting where guests are inspired, surprised and delighted by Hawaii’s natural beauty, as well as the flavors of the Pacific.
Hualalai Grille has become famous for Chef James Ebreo’s signature dishes, including Seared Big Eye Tuna, 21-ounce Bone-in Rib eye, Battered Onion Rings, Hamakua Mushrooms and Macadamia Nut Toffee Ice Cream Pie. The Bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with a selection of small plates.
Enjoy relaxing by a quiet stream in the open-air Waiea, or Water of Life, garden at the beautiful spa. Savor the lap pool, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and cold plunges, all set amidst lush greenery. You can have your choice of massages and body treatments indoors or outdoors in their exotic hales, secluded for privacy. The Spa's Apothecary was influenced by the Kupuna (island elders) who shared their healing traditions and knowledge of native plants and minerals. With the guidance of experienced spa therapists, choose from more than 20 local natural ingredients – from Hawaiian sea salt to crushed macadamia nuts, which are custom blended to create unique personalized treatments.
With all this and more to offer, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the perfect spot for your next tropical vacation. Experience it with your family, friends or a romantic get away. With our Experts and the help of Classic Vacations, you are assured the best possible outcome.
