Our Experts Love Holland America Cruises

Holland America is a popular cruise line amongst our Experts. From Alaska to the Caribbean, the Baltic to the Mediterranean and escorting groups in Australia and New Zealand, they have gone everywhere. On a 14-night Australia and New Zealand cruise, our Expert escorted a group of 25 passengers. They raved about the large staterooms with verandahs and said they spent many hours reading, and enjoying the beauty of the areas they visited right from their stateroom verandah. The food was amazing and collectively they agreed that Crystals Steakhouse served the best steak they had ever tasted. This cruise started in Sydney and finished in Auckland. The entire cruise was filled with amazing ports, wonderful activities and never a dull moment. Another one of our Experts enjoyed the well traveled clientele and had many in depth conversations about different locations around the world. The clientele is unpretentious and knows what they like. They choose Holland because they can travel in comfortable luxury. There is a wonderful family atmosphere onboard including multi-generational travelers. The service onboard is excellent and the staff anticipates your needs at all times. She also enjoyed the large and spacious staterooms and raved about the Pinnacle Grill, which serves Continental Cuisine. Another Expert in our office has traveled Holland America many, many times and would recommend it highly. You can enjoy the amenities and luxuries of a larger ship on a small ship. This means a more intimate onboard feeling, no waiting in lines and more personal service. The food is impeccable and they cater to your dietary needs. On her Alaska cruise, she and her family enjoyed cooking demonstrations in the demo kitchen and the kids loved the kids club, where they constantly kept busy. While visiting ports they enjoyed rock climbing and took a boat to a small island for hiking and a Gold Rush experience. They also enjoyed the Skagway Museum. All in all, our Experts agree that Holland America offers great itineraries, wonderful cuisine, activities for all age groups and great value.
