The Four Seasons Hotel Maui at Wailea Beach

            If the Four Seasons had a middle name it would be luxury. Voted into the Top 25 most luxurious hotels in the United States, The Four Seasons Resort at Maui is nothing shy of elegant. The tropical and modern décor fits in perfectly as you arrive at one of the most stunning resorts in the entire world. I was fortunate enough to visit this tranquil and exciting piece of property a few months ago.

                       I had never been to any Hawaiin Island before, so I knew this was going to be the experience of a lifetime. I figured this hotel would be like any other hotel in Hawaii. I would spend my days relaxing by the beach and then I would go into my room for the night. I came to find, I was very wrong. This hotel has so much more to offer that it was hard to fit everything into a short week vacation. Upon arrival it becomes evident that you will be staying amongst the most caring and hard-working employees I had ever seen. They make your wish their command and they synchronously move about the resort waiting to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

            The enjoyable stroll to my suite was made even more amusing by the luscious gardens perfectly maintained throughout the resort. Palm trees and other tropical plants give the resort a feel of serenity that I have never felt before.

            Heavenly is the only way I can describe my ocean-view suite. Bright colors mixed with modern furniture and an astounding view of the ocean made this room absolutely perfect. Four Seasons puts pride into making everyone happy at their resort and the clean furniture and freshly made beds made the trip that much better. Not only are the rooms fantastic but the bathrooms are award winning. Awarded as the largest bathrooms in any hotel on the entire island, the waterfall shower and Jacuzzi looking bathtubs make for a pleasant bathroom experience. I actually looked forward to my time in there!

            The list of activities is nearly endless on this tropical, volcanic island. From scuba diving to golfing to zip-lining to helicopter tours, The Four Seasons satisfies anybody’s wants and wishes to a tee. Every age group has tons of activities to make their stay more enjoyable. The Hawaiin Islands have some of the most beautiful rock formations in the entire world and it is necessary to spend time admiring the landscape and the history behind it. As if that isn’t enjoyable enough, the 82-degree weather along with a mild ocean breeze makes anything done outside more fulfilling.

            Dining at the resort is as good as the island is beautiful. Panoramic ocean views make every meal more pleasant as world-renowned chefs prepare each meal with love and a little Hawaiian fusion. Steak and seafood are easy to find as nearly every restaurant has some variation of the popular foods. Extensive menus with locally grown ingredients make even the finest food connoisseurs happy at the end of each meal. Drinks are a must as highly trained bar tenders infuse their drinks with native ingredients grown just minutes away from the resort. This resort is one of the best in the world and it made for one of the most memorable trips of my entire life!
