On May 13, 2013, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island welcomed its first sea turtle nest of the year. Year after year, these nests delight visitors and locals as everyone watches Mother Nature at her finest. Last year was one of the most successful Sea Turtle nesting seasons on record. Amelia Island, Florida was home to more than 230 sea turtle nests with more than 20,000 Sea Turtle eggs during the 2012 nesting season.
