Reasons we LOVE Oceania
We sell a ton of cruises. Ultra-luxury, small-ship, adventure, mega-ship, you name it, we sell it. Every so often a product comes along that does things differently. Oceania was that product when it debuted in 2002 and we quickly realized that this was a cruise experience we needed to share with our clients. Its unique fit just below luxury but above premium, where pampering meets a casual ambiance, makes Oceania a unique and memorable cruise experience. Here are some reasons we LOVE Oceania. #5 - Canyon Ranch Spa Guests can retreat to the 10,000 square-foot Canyon Ranch Spa and enjoy a variety of Asian therapy treatments, various massages and facials, a Thermal Suite with specialized saunas and steam rooms and a thalassotherapy pool. The fitness center is equipped with cardio and weight training equipment and offers various group classes including spinning and yoga. Canyon Ranch Spa is the perfect place to pamper yourself while on your cruise vacation. #4 - Staterooms Each stateroom is centered around a "Prestige Tranquility Bed", whose pillow-top mattress is wrapped in 1,000-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and topped with a plush down comforter. The veranda staterooms measure 282 square feet and are the largest in the cruise industry. Stateroom amenities include a flat-panel television, lap-top computer with wireless access, refrigerated mini-bar, writing desk, security safe, plush terry robes, bed slippers, and marble and granite bathroom. #3 - Ship Size The last 10 years have seen countless new ships hit the cruise marketplace. From mega-ships that carry thousands, to small, intimate, yacht-like ships that carry only a couple hundred, your options are many. Slotting somewhere right in the middle are the casual yet classy, comfortable yet refined, mid-size vessels of Oceania. Including the 2 newest, Marina & Riviera, we find that Oceania's ships strike the perfect balance with plenty of room for the extras like lots of dining choices, a great spa and roomy staterooms. Also, the size allows for Oceania's ships to easily navigate smaller ports that the mega-ships can't get near. Overall, we love the size and we LOVE the ships! #2 - Cuisine Oceania offers a vacation that emphasizes fine food and wine. With many different dining venues to choose from, guests can enjoy steakhouse fare, Italian, French Country and several other different types of cuisine. Oceania is so focused on the culinary experience and they want guests to feel like their restaurants are among their guest's favorite destinations. For those seeking an interactive culinary experience, they also offer a series of cooking classes in the Bon Appetit Culinary School! #1 - Itineraries Oceania prides itself on their award winning itineraries. They visit more than 300 ports in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Americas. They have made it a point to build more overnight stays into their itineraries. This allows travelers more time to explore and takes the stress away of having to return to the ship so quickly. Oceania's itineraries frequently extend up to two or three weeks, giving guests a more in-depth visit to a region.
