Regent Seven Seas Voyager - Beijing to Bangkok

I have always wanted do a cruise in Asia. Recently, my dream came true when I went on an 18-night voyage onboard Regent Seven Seas Voyager. The ship started her journey in Beijing, China and ended in Bangkok, Thailand. We decided to fly first class as the flight is so long. What a dream come true. By the time we reached our destination, we were well rested and ready to start our adventure. We had amazing meals and great service. 1st class is definitely the way to go when traveling this far to your destination. Since we booked a Concierge Suite on the ship, we had a complimentary pre-cruise night hotel in Beijing. We stayed at a beautiful hotel in a great location. The thing we really wanted to do was visit The Great Wall. Wow is all I can say. If you have never been there, you cannot even begin to imagine how magnificent it is in person. Not only visually, but spiritually as well. There is just a special feeling being there. We took a private guided tour and learned so much about the history of The Great Wall. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something exotic and special to do. The next day we boarded the ship in Beijing. This was my first experience onboard a Regent Seven Seas Ship and it was all that I thought it would be and more. I have sold many, but it is entirely different being onboard. The ship is so beautiful and has a nice, casual yet elegant feel to it. You will not want for anything. The service is second-to-none and your every need will be taken care of. We splurged and decided to book a Concierge Suite. It was spacious, decorated tastefully and the bathroom was a great size. The balcony was large enough to have breakfast on each and every day. What a beautiful way to start your vacation days. Now that I'm home, I really miss my mornings on that balcony. Guests booking a Concierge Suite, enjoy a free 1-night pre-cruise luxury hotel package, priority online shore excursion and restaurant reservations and special complimentary privileges and amenities. This is the way to get spoiled. Regent ships are not large and don't hold that many passengers, but it is nice to know that you can reserve your shore excursions and restaurant reservations ahead of the majority of people. I highly recommend a Concierge Suite or higher to those that want things their way and are not willing to compromise. It is definitely worth the extra money. All of their suites include in-suite full liquor bar, mini-bar with beer, soft drinks and bottled water replenished every day, marble-appointed bathrooms, plush bathrobes and slippers, hair dryer and private safe, interactive flat-screen television, welcome bottle of champagne and 24-hour room service with dinner served course by course. One of the really wonderful things about Regent Seven Seas is that they are all-inclusive. Included in your cruise fare are in-suite full liquor bar set up and mini-bar replenished with soft drinks, bottled water and beer - all complimentary, free roundtrip air (some restrictions apply), unlimited shore excursions, transfers, pre-paid gratuities, unlimited beverages including fine wines and premium spirits, open bars and lounges, complimentary specialty restaurants and 24-hour room service. There was so much history to learn on this voyage. We went hiking in Ho Chi Minh City, did some pretty fabulous shopping in Hong Kong and ate amazing and authentic food in Shanghai. We cruised the Yellow Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. All I can say is it was truly amazing and life changing. We have the most interesting pictures to show it! All in all, this was a perfect cruise and a dream come true. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a wonderful luxury cruise line and great value when you consider everything you get for your money. I'm definitely going to go with them again. I will definitely also be selling a lot more Regent Seven Seas Cruises to my clients. I now know first-hand they will not be disappointed and will have the very best time.
