Sailing the Seabourn Quest

If you are traveling on Seabourn for the very first time, get ready to meet lots of people who have sailed previously on the line many times before. On a recent Seabourn Quest voyage to the Caribbean, over 275 guests were invited to the Captain's Seabourn Club receptions, which is a gathering for those who have sailed on the cruise line before. That is not a high percentage of passengers when there are only 400 - plus guests on the ship. Why do cruisers come back time and time again? Most past passengers say they like the intimate size of the ship, which has only 225 suites. This means that you are never too far away from your suite. Let's put it this way: if you forget your bag or sunglasses in your room, it is not a 15 minute trek back to your room to retrieve them. One devoted cruising couple says they thought they would not be able to get used to Seabourn's larger ships, but they had grown quite fond of them and had been sailing regularly on them since they debuted with the cruise line. They still enjoy the smaller original ships that offer 104 suites each. These smaller ships will be sold to another cruise line in 2014 and 2015. The biggest change to the newer ships is a much more active pool scene, a larger spa and a more spacious Sun Deck. There are also a few hidden pools, Jacuzzis and decks on the newer vessels. Make your next cruise a memorable one and sail on one of the beautiful ships of Seabourn. Our Experts love them and so will you.
