The London Experience, With Help From Journese, Curators of Fine Travel

When I think of a trip to London I think of an experience that could only be realized in my dreams. Thankfully dreams really do come true. London is known as one of the most renowned and culturally spectacular places of the world. The history behind this wondrous city is truly enchanting and unforgettable.

I was able to stay at the architecturally magnificent Royal Horse Guards Hotel. I had a bird’s eye view of the London eye which is less than a mile from the hotel. Looking at the amazing landscape and how the city truly shines at night...literally. Day time in London is a truly remarkable experience but there is nothing more exciting about how the hotel and surrounding areas shine so brightly specifically the London eye which is an excellent tourist attraction since it functions as a giant Ferris wheel.

The Royal Guards Hotel is a famous 5-star hotel that has a unique blend of 21st century and Victorian decorations that make this hotel an attraction itself. Conveniently located near some of London's most popular attractions and tourist hot spots, this charming and robust 5-star hotel is the perfect hotel choice for guests traveling for leisure or those strictly on business. The hotel features include a fitness center and an executive lounge. Guests are provided with a large array of fine cuisine to choose from at the elegant dining experience in one of the hotel's signature restaurants. The One Twenty One Two Restaurant is truly contemporary dining at its finest offering a very innovative menu with exemplary service. The Terrace restaurant is a more intimate atmosphere to enjoy an amazing dining experience or to just enjoy a quiet drink away from the fast paced London city life and the Victorian hotel nearby creates an amazing background view.

The Royal Horse Guards offers very spacious guestrooms and suites, each room is accented by elegant decor and furnishings and many other amenities. Rooms consist of Standard Single and Double Rooms, Deluxe Double Rooms, Executive Double Rooms and King Suites. All rooms and suites are beautifully handcrafted to include an en-suite bathroom with heated flooring, televisions, self-controlled temperature systems, and a minibar. Guests are also provided with complimentary wireless internet and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a work desk that is included in specific rooms for the convenience of guests traveling on business. Guests who want the full London package need look no further than the Executive King Room with a View which contains unforgettable panoramic views of London and its attractions. This room also comes equipped with a spacious bathroom that offers extra amenities such as bath products and vanity boxes. King Suites are ideal for guests who require extra space, possibly for a family. These specific suites have a separate living room area which allows for more space to use and enjoy. A few of the King Suites offer an excellent view of the River Thames as well. Guests also have the option of handicapped and non-smoking rooms to fit their preference and specific needs.

The numbers of attractions in London near the hotel are almost unimaginable, there is so much to do, see and, experience!  Located just a step away from the hotel is the Charring Crossing Station which is ideal for guests to get around the city and surrounding areas. Trafalgar Square, The House of Parliament, and the Convent Garden are all great historical landmarks that are a must see located less than a mile from the hotel. The iconic Buckingham Palace and the extremely popular tourist area known in the United Kingdom as simply the West End are located no further than two miles away from the hotel.
