Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks

Stay right in the heart of the world's first national park on Tauck's most comprehensive of Wyoming and Yellowstone tours. Explore Yellowstone's amazing geothermal features, Old West history in Cody, the colossal Black Hills masterpieces of Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial, and the peaks and glaciers of the Tetons. See Old Faithful, just outside your hotel, raft along the Snake River, enjoy a classic western ranch experience, and attend a Wild West rodeo or a cowboy music revue and so much more. Our Expert Starr recently returned from this 10-day tour. They started the trip in Salt Lake City and ended at Mount Rushmore. They spent time in the Grand Teton National Park, went rafting on the Snake River, spent an amazing day in Yellowstone National Park, experienced the Wild West in Buffalo Bill's Cody and had a taste of ranch life in The Bighorn Mountains. Tauck Tours offers this and many other tours throughout the United States. These tours give people a chance to see parts of the United States that they have never experienced before. There is so much history that we have all heard about, but have never seen. It's a great way to learn about these places in a fun, interactive, educational and social environment. They take you behind the scenes to really understand everything about the places you visit. Tauck commentators and directors are always knowledgeable and interesting. They are experts in the local culture and help you understand the unspoken customs and traditions. Some of the things Starr raved about were how easy the trip is. Being a travel agent, Starr is used to taking care of all the details of a trip. She did not have to do that on this one! You meet your Tauck Tours tour director and staff at the hotel and they take care of the rest for you. They take your luggage to your room at the beginning of the trip as well as taking it to each and every hotel during your stay. All you have to do is make sure your things are packed and they take it from there. There is never a need to check in or check out of a hotel as that is part of what Tauck Tours does for you. Starr really liked the fact that the group had only 44 people. Tauck has even partnered with necessaryGear, an online tool that suggests what you might need for your trip and allows you to purchase it over the internet. It does not get much easier than that. The ground transportation throughout your trip is on a luxury coach equipped with air conditioning, heating, comfortable seating and a bathroom. The bus works on hydraulics so if a passenger cannot make the large step up into the coach, they lower it so anyone can get in.. There is some walking and soft adventure during your trip so if you are physically compromised in any way, you will want to check with Tauck Tours before you go. Seating on the coach is handled in a wonderful way where they assign seats each day so you always know where you are sitting. One entire day you might be in the front of the bus and then you will rotate through the bus making it fair for all guests. Starr traveled with a very dear friend of hers and they made friends with other singles on the tour as well as couples. She feels that a solo traveler would love this since Tauck really promotes group socializing. No one ever feels left out. That said, if you are traveling alone or just want to be with your traveling partner(s), that is no problem. The restaurants they stopped at were very good. Some were buffet and some were menu style. There were always ample choices and everyone could find something they liked. They were never hungry. Wherever they stopped for meals, they were always able to get coffee, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, wine and beer. On a Tauck Tour your hotels, ground transportation, 21 meals, service charges, gratuities to local guides, admission fees, taxes, porterage and tours are included. This makes for a super easy way to travel, not to mention a great value. If you are traveling with children, we would suggest a Tauck Bridges Tour. These fabulous tours are geared towards children and give them a clear understanding of the places they are visiting in a way that keeps them interested and enjoying their vacation each and every moment. Contact Starr or any of our Experts to book your Tauck Tour. You won't be disappointed!
