Azamara Club Cruises Improves Their Brand Recognition
Let's turn the spotlight on Azamara Club Cruises. Founded in 2007, the small, two-ship cruise line has struggled to establish itself in the marketplace. The biggest challenge for them has been brand awareness.
Recently, the line has made huge strides on making its mark. To this, they credit their visionary leader, president and CEO Larry Pimentel.
Pimentel has brought several innovations to Azamara Club Cruises, including inclusions that replicate with what the luxury lines offer. At the start of the European season in 2013, Azamara began to include complimentary standard spirits, wines and international beers throughout the ship’s bar during regular opening hours. There is a lot more included on an Azamara cruise, adding tremendous value to their marketing stance.
One of the line’s best, and most distinguishing, features came about only this past year when the company created new, complimentary adventures ashore, dubbed AzAmazing Evenings, offering one on every voyage. These special events take advantage of the line’s numerous late-night and overnight port stays.
Betting that cruise passengers can never get too much of a good thing, the cruise line recently upped the all-inclusive ante by offering free shore excursions, albeit for a limited booking window.
